PROPERTIES:

OptiShell™ is an advanced nutritional solution designed to enhance egg quality in laying hens by addressing three critical areas: bone health, shell quality, and gut health. With 95% of the eggshell comprised of calcium carbonate, calcium is essential, and OptiShell™ ensures optimal calcium absorption and utilization through its targeted formulation.

OptiShell™ contains an activated form of vitamin D3. Thisincrease facilitates enhanced calcium absorption from the gut while promoting bone growth. The result is stronger bones with more cortical and trabecular bone, which provide additional space for bone marrow. As one-third of the calcium needed for eggshell formation comes from bone marrow, this process significantly increases calcium availability.

The remaining two-thirds of calcium comes from the gut and is transported to the oviduct, where the eggshell is formed.

In addition, OptiShell™ includes bio-available minerals like sodiumbircarbonate and calcium phosphate, which reduce blood acidity and enhance calcium carbonate metabolism. This process improves the deposition of calcium in the oviduct, ensuring a stronger eggshell.

Beyond the eggshell, OptiShell™ supports yolk formation by impacting fat and protein synthesis in the liver. Furthermore, the inclusion of butyrate promotes a balanced gut microflora, leading to better gut health, improved calcium absorption, and superior eggshell quality.

Storage conditions:

Please keep in tightly closed original bag and store in a cool, dark and dry place. OptiShell™ is a stable product under above conditions for a period of 18 months from manufacturing date. After this period, quality should be checked before actual use. Possible variation in colour is not correlated with the intrinsic activity and thus performance.
