Gut Balance Booster™ is a synergetic combination of different ingredients that improve the gut health of animals by balancing the gut microflora. It can be used as an alternative for the antibiotic growth promotors to stabilize the gut microflora. This particular blend of additives works on different levels of the gut. It has a strong antibacterial effect by breaking the cell wall of harmful bacteria, and subsequently invading the bacterial cell to destroy it. Another benefit is that it supports gut health by stimulating the growth of gut microvilli, as well as the excretion of enzymes which will allow the animal to exhibit a better nutrient absorption. Gut Balance Booster™ is a grey, free-flowing powder for easy dosing and uniform mixing. The product can be used in poultry diets from beginning till end but specifically in the critical growing periods.

PRODUCT SUMMARY:

Genetic selection allows us to rear birds that constantly improve their performance. The birds will eat more, grow faster and constantly enhance their feed conversion. But the length of the GIT of the animals will not change. This implicates an increased digestive stress. Undigested feed will act as a substrate for the gut flora, which may favour the growth of pathogens. These harmful bacteria can damage the gut cell walls, causing gut leakage and disrupt the microbial balance in the intestines. This becomes more and more important in antibiotics free diets.

Gut Balance Booster™ permits the farmer to rear a healthier flock with much less gut problems. The product will reduce the number of harmful bacteria in the intestines, such as E. Coli, Salmonella and Clostridium, without affecting the good gut bacteria such as Lactobacilli. Gram-positive bacteria (as Clostridium) are affected by the effective mixture of essential oils permeabilizing the cell membranes, which permits the organic acids to enter the cell and reduce the intracellular pH. This will force the cell to use energy and the bacteria will die due to depletion of energy. Adding easy digestible zinc improves the immune response making the birds less vulnerable against the surviving pathogens.

Gut Balance Booster™ also enhances the overall digestibility by boosting the secretion of digestive enzymes. The released nutrients will be better absorbed by an intact intestinal wall. The latter will also prevent the harmful bacteria of entering the vital tissues. By controlling the gut microflora balance, there will be less inflammation in the gut which also contributes to a better immunity for the chicken.

• Dosage recommendations for Gut Balance Booster™: 1,5 - 2,0 kg/mT of compound feed
• Storage conditions: Please keep in tightly closed original bag, and store in a dark and dry place at room temperature. Gut Balance Booster™ is a stable product under above conditions for 12 months from manufacturing date. After this period, quality should be checked before actual use. Possible variation in colour is not correlated with the intrinsic activity and thus performance.
